Nashville & Middle Tennessee
Twenty-five years touring with major artists — now bringing concert-grade lighting, sound and DJ production to weddings, birthdays, corporate nights and backyard blowouts across Middle Tennessee.
What we do
Book one, or stack them. Everything is designed, delivered, rigged and run by the same crew — so nothing gets lost between vendors.
A real DJ reading a real room — not a laptop on shuffle. Custom playlists built with you beforehand.
The bit most people skip — and the bit everyone photographs. Moving heads, uplighting, haze, beams.
Turn a backyard into a club. 30' × 20', 12' inside, up to 45 people — and no mess in your house.
Why we're different
Most small-event DJ outfits turn up with cheap fixtures and hope for the best. Pop Up Party 615 is run by a working production manager who spends his weeks building lighting rigs for national tours — and his weekends building smaller versions of them for you.
Every show gets designed in pre-vis first — so you know exactly what you're paying for.
DJ packages & pricing
All packages are based on 4 hours, within one hour of Nashville. Every one includes a DJ, full insurance and spare equipment as standard.
Best for house parties & smaller birthdays
Best for weddings & 60–150 guests
Best for corporate nights & big receptions
Show & tour lighting
School productions, showcases, dance recitals, album releases, music videos and small tours — designed, built, programmed and operated by someone who's spent 25 years doing exactly this at arena scale.
Every show is different, so pricing is a conversation, not a menu.
Live theatre show — our rig, our desk, our operator.

Delivered, built and ready — your backyard before doors open.
Pop-up party tent
Thirty feet by twenty, twelve feet to the ceiling, with the feel of a small club. Holds around 45 people comfortably. We deliver it, build it, run it and take it away — and absolutely nothing happens inside your house.
You need a flat 30' × 20' footprint with about 2 feet of clearance around the edges for guy lines. If you're not sure, send a photo of the yard with your enquiry and we'll tell you straight away — before you pay a deposit.
The work
Everything below is a real event we produced — nothing staged, nothing stock. More on Instagram, where we post most weeks.
Meet your DJ
I started out in London theatre and spent the next two decades touring the world in the music industry, building and running lighting for some very large artists. Ten years ago I moved to Nashville, and I've been doing it here ever since.
Pop Up Party 615 is what happens when you point that experience at a wedding reception or a backyard instead of an arena. Same standards, same discipline about timing and safety, same obsession with lighting — just scaled to your room and your budget.
I'm on every job personally. If you call the number on this page, you're talking to the person who'll be running your show.
Before you ask
For a Saturday in wedding season, two to three months is comfortable and six is safer. For a weeknight or an off-season date we can often work with a couple of weeks. Either way, ask — if the date's free, it's free.
A $100 deposit secures it, paid by card through our Square link. The balance is due on the day. Until that deposit lands the date stays open to anyone else.
Yes. Package prices cover anywhere within an hour of Nashville. Beyond that we quote travel per job — Murfreesboro, Franklin, Clarksville and Bowling Green are all regular runs.
Completely. We build a playlist with you before the date, including must-plays, first dance and a do-not-play list. On the night the reading of the room is ours — that's what you're hiring — but the guardrails are yours.
Nothing you'll notice. We carry spares for every critical item — mics, cabling, a backup player — because on tour you never get a second show. Everything is also fully insured, and we can send a certificate to your venue on request.
Yes — school productions, corporate events, small stage builds and lighting for music videos. Those are quoted individually rather than off the package list, so tell us what you're planning.
Bronze runs happily off standard household outlets. Silver and Gold need a bit more planning — we'll ask about your circuits when you book, and for larger rigs we can bring our own distro. This is the part most companies get wrong; we don't.
