What we do

Three ways to make the room
impossible to forget

Book one, or stack them. Everything is designed, delivered, rigged and run by the same crew — so nothing gets lost between vendors.

DJ & Sound

A real DJ reading a real room — not a laptop on shuffle. Custom playlists built with you beforehand.

  • Denon Prime 4+ system
  • Shure wireless mics
  • 15" tops & 18" subs
  • MC available

Stage Lighting

The bit most people skip — and the bit everyone photographs. Moving heads, uplighting, haze, beams.

  • Automated lighting towers
  • LED uplighters
  • Haze & vertical smoke
  • Programmed, not plug-and-pray

Pop-Up Party Tent

Turn a backyard into a club. 30' × 20', 12' inside, up to 45 people — and no mess in your house.

  • Lighting & smoke included
  • Speakers or silent disco
  • Delivery & set-up
  • 5-hour rental

Why we're different

Touring gear. Touring standards. Party-sized budget.

Most small-event DJ outfits turn up with cheap fixtures and hope for the best. Pop Up Party 615 is run by a working production manager who spends his weeks building lighting rigs for national tours — and his weekends building smaller versions of them for you.

  • Your show is designed before it's built. You see a render of the room, not a shrug and a guess.
  • Real fixtures, named on the quote. Vello moving heads, Chauvet haze, ChamSys control — no vague "professional lighting."
  • We run to a schedule. Load-in, soundcheck, doors. Two decades of tour timings means we're built before your guests arrive.
  • Spares for everything. A dead fixture or a dropped mic never becomes your problem.

Every show gets designed in pre-vis first — so you know exactly what you're paying for.

Show & tour lighting

Stage lighting for real shows

School productions, showcases, dance recitals, album releases, music videos and small tours — designed, built, programmed and operated by someone who's spent 25 years doing exactly this at arena scale.

  • Designed in pre-vis first — you approve the look on screen before anything is loaded in
  • Moving heads, beams, haze, LED wall and control — brought, rigged and run as one package
  • One designer-operator from plot to show call — nothing lost between hire company and desk op
  • Fully insured, spares for everything — venue paperwork handled on request

Every show is different, so pricing is a conversation, not a menu.

Pop-up party tent

Your backyard, turned into a venue

Thirty feet by twenty, twelve feet to the ceiling, with the feel of a small club. Holds around 45 people comfortably. We deliver it, build it, run it and take it away — and absolutely nothing happens inside your house.

  • 30' × 20', 12' inside height — fits most residential yards
  • Lighting and smoke included in the rental
  • Speakers or silent disco — your call, and silent disco keeps the neighbours friendly
  • 5-hour rental with delivery and set-up covered

Will it fit?

You need a flat 30' × 20' footprint with about 2 feet of clearance around the edges for guy lines. If you're not sure, send a photo of the yard with your enquiry and we'll tell you straight away — before you pay a deposit.

Luke Pritchard, owner of Pop Up Party 615, behind the DJ decks

Meet your DJ

Hi — I'm Luke.

I started out in London theatre and spent the next two decades touring the world in the music industry, building and running lighting for some very large artists. Ten years ago I moved to Nashville, and I've been doing it here ever since.

Pop Up Party 615 is what happens when you point that experience at a wedding reception or a backyard instead of an arena. Same standards, same discipline about timing and safety, same obsession with lighting — just scaled to your room and your budget.

I'm on every job personally. If you call the number on this page, you're talking to the person who'll be running your show.

Before you ask

Questions we get every week

How far ahead should I book?

For a Saturday in wedding season, two to three months is comfortable and six is safer. For a weeknight or an off-season date we can often work with a couple of weeks. Either way, ask — if the date's free, it's free.

What does it take to hold my date?

A $100 deposit secures it, paid by card through our Square link. The balance is due on the day. Until that deposit lands the date stays open to anyone else.

Do you travel outside Nashville?

Yes. Package prices cover anywhere within an hour of Nashville. Beyond that we quote travel per job — Murfreesboro, Franklin, Clarksville and Bowling Green are all regular runs.

Can I choose the music?

Completely. We build a playlist with you before the date, including must-plays, first dance and a do-not-play list. On the night the reading of the room is ours — that's what you're hiring — but the guardrails are yours.

What happens if a piece of equipment fails?

Nothing you'll notice. We carry spares for every critical item — mics, cabling, a backup player — because on tour you never get a second show. Everything is also fully insured, and we can send a certificate to your venue on request.

Do you do anything other than parties?

Yes — school productions, corporate events, small stage builds and lighting for music videos. Those are quoted individually rather than off the package list, so tell us what you're planning.

What power do you need on site?

Bronze runs happily off standard household outlets. Silver and Gold need a bit more planning — we'll ask about your circuits when you book, and for larger rigs we can bring our own distro. This is the part most companies get wrong; we don't.
